Our Story
A boy and a girl met while working at a restaurant, left their hometown, went to college, got married, started a family and began their careers. He in engineering and manufacturing her as a graphic designer, owning a marketing studio. Fast forward (not really so fast) – and it feels like it’s time for a second act. Their son is grown, they’re not quite facing retirement, so they lean in to what they enjoy.
They start on a journey, exploring local vineyards, wine tastings and classes, pairings, charcuterie and they are hooked. There’s something there – it’s fun and enriching. They think back to their early days in the restaurant and the wine house dream is slowly born. They decide to build a community centered around wine with a well curated stock and retail items that enhance the experience. A comfortable welcoming place, where you can relax, enjoy the wine experience, conversation, entertainment, education and settle in – like rocking on the front porch.
